The activity of Phano Association, by Mr. Vy, Vice of Phano

 
The activity is organized in different directions:
 

• On the territory of Vietnam: This is primarily to develop the sites in the provinces of Vietnam in terms of different rural development models. The model of ecotourism is a good example.

• Vocational training: Phano school is a school that trains engineers / technicians / managers of cooperatives / group leaders. This school currently receives aid from Japan (in particular, to the heads of cooperatives) and South Korea. The latter are pioneers on rural development issues.

• Training in different areas: The most important to PHANO is to re-locate stakeholders: farmers, fishermen, rural ... in South Vietnam, there are many landless peasants. Then we set training programs adjusted for them.

PHANO is participating in the drafting of a handbook for rural development at the request of the Ministry of Agriculture. Should be completed by December 2009. Shall, in particular the issue of tourism: tourism fair, eco-tourism. 18 chapters are planned. Fourteen pilot municipalities will participate in the experiments: where training will be organized. Each of the 62 provinces, municipalities choose to implement the new proposed models.
